KT Mirisha

Kris’Tina’ is the founder of the KT Mirisha Foundation for Sacred Art and a lifelong freelance artist whose work is devoted exclusively to the saints.

After a successful career as both an artist and private investor, Tina experienced a profound calling that redirected her life toward sacred art. Through prayer, she embraced a mission to portray the saints in a fresh and imaginative way, inviting others to discover their lives, virtues, and enduring witness to Christ.

Her lifelong goal is to paint as many saints as possible, creating a growing collection that honors the men , women and children who have shaped the history of the Catholic faith. Through her artwork and the Foundation, she hopes to inspire devotion, preserve the beauty of sacred art, and encourage future generations of Catholic artists to answer their creative calling.

Each painting is offered as a tribute to the saints and as an invitation to encounter the beauty of faith through art.

Suzi Thompson

Suzi Thompson is a Florida artist whose work reflects the beauty of God’s creation and the joy of heaven poured into everyday life. With a background in textile and decorative arts, she has long been drawn to texture, design and color, finding endless inspiration in Florida’ s coastal landscapes and the changing moods of nature.

For Suzi, creativity is an extension of prayer. Her sacred art has been shaped by the example of St. Francis of Assisi’s love for creation, St. Teresa of Avila’s deep surrender to God, and St. Hildegard of Bingen’s fearless embrace of the gifts God entrusted to her.

Through painting, Suzi hopes to share the peace, beauty, and grace she discovered in her own spiritual journey, inviting others to glimpse the joys of heaven reflected in the world around us.

Ron Reid

Ron Reid is a Florida artist whose passion for drawing and painting began in childhood. After serving in the U.S. Navy, he studied art at the University of South Florida and later pursued landscape design and construction before opening his own studio and gallery in St. Petersburg in 2006.

Encouraged by his wife, Mary, Ron discovered a deep calling to sacred art. For him, painting and sculpting are both creative acts and forms of prayer - moments of quiet conversation with God. Through his work, Ron seeks to reflect the beauty of faith and the presence of the Creator in every piece he creates.

Sean C. Hackett

Sean Hackett is a Catholic artist whose work reflects a lifelong search for truth, beauty, and God. After years of exploring different beliefs, he entered the Roman Catholic Church in 1997, discovering in Christ the foundation of his faith and artistic calling.

For Sean, sacred art is both a testimony and a prayer. His collages draw from his personal journey of conversion, Scripture, the Communion of Saints, and moments of profound surrender to God’s mercy. Through symbolic imagery, he invites viewers to reflect on their own spiritual journey and to encounter the hope, healing, and love found in Jesus Christ.

Ellen Garvin

Inspired by the beauty of sacred icons and the founding of the KT Mirisha Foundation of Sacred Art, Ellen Garvin recently began exploring Sacred Art as a new creative path. A lifelong watercolor artist, she has painted everything from nature and abstract works to portraits, bringing a gentle, contemplative style to each piece. Her artwork reflects a love of beauty, faith, and the quiet moments that reveal God’s presence in everyday life.

George Chase

George Chase discovered his love of art as a child while recovering from polio. Confined to bed for the summer, a caring neighbor brought him art supplies and encouraged him to sketch the birds outside his bedroom window. That simple act sparked a lifelong passion. One of his earliest paintings was of Pope Pius XII - years before George himself became Catholic.

He went on to study at Ringling College of Art and Design and Art Center College of Design, later serving as an art director at Leo Burnett in Chicago before founding his own successful art and design business. Throughout his career, he completed numerous projects for religious organizations, including the Chicago Marian Conference.

After moving to Florida and embracing the Catholic faith, George returned to painting full-time. Many of his sacred works begin as vivid dreams, often returning until every detail is faithfully captured on canvas. His wife, Jeanne, affectionately calls him “God’s little artist.” Guided by faith, inspiration, and a deep love for God’s creation, George continues to create sacred art that reflects both beauty and devotion.

William Woodard

William “Bill” Woodard spent 33 years serving as a Director of Religious Education in the Diocese of St. Petersburg, first at Light of Christ Parish in Clearwater and later at Christ the King Parish in Tampa. Drawn to the beauty of God’s creation from an early age, he discovered painting later in life as a self-taught artist. What began with portraits, landscapes, and florals gradually became a callng to create sacred art and icons. Inspired by his faith, Bill paints with a simple desire: to reflect the Creator by creating beauty that points others to Him.

Marc Carey

Marc Carey is a Chicago-based artist whose creative journey began with a love of comic book illustration and mythic storytelling. After studying illustration and commercial design at the American Academy of Art, he built a successful career in graphic design and digital illustration, creating work for both consumer and medical industries.

Rooted in his Catholic faith and inspired by the timeless hero’s journey, Marc focuses on sacred art that explores the life of Christ through a contemporary visual language. His work seeks to illuminate themes of sacrifice, redemption, and transformation, inviting viewers to encounter the Gospel in a fresh and compelling way.

Clara Johnson

Born in Vietnam, Clara Johnson has always enjoyed arts and crafts, finding joy in creating with her hands. After the passing of her husband in 2015, her faith deepened as she often wondered what it would be like to meet Jesus. That longing inspired her to begin painting sacred art. Through her artwork, Clara seeks to express her personal vision of Christ and the love, hope, and peace she has found in Him. Each painting is a heartfelt reflection of her faith and spiritual journey.

Lily Hendley

Lily Hendley finds her inspiration through photography for sacred art in the beauty of God’s creation. As she says when she looks up at the sky, she sees God’s beautiful handiwork - filled with breathtaking colors and designs. Through her photography she seeks to capture a moment of His masterpieces - which are made new with each sunrise and every sunset. Lily is not Catholic, but is a Christian artist in the Sacred Art Foundation. Her unconditional love for God and her desire to glorify Him through photography, beautifully reflects the Foundation’s mission of sharing Christ through sacred art.

Molly Zuloaga

Molly Zuloaga is a Florida-based ceramic artist whose work reflects her deep love for the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Using both pottery wheel and hand-building techniques, she creates handcrafted vases, tiles, and other clay pieces adorned with sacred imagery painted in underglaze. Inspired by the peace and clarity she finds while working with clay, Molly sees each creation as an opportunity to draw closer to God and share His love with others. As her collection grows, she hopes to expand into functional pottery and wall hangings that serve as beautiful reminders of Christ’s presence in everyday life.
